Open the door to treatment room #2 at The Pediatric Heart Center in Providence, and you’ll be greeted by a variety of meticulously detailed painted animals – including an inquisitive Giraffe, a happy Elephant, two concerned Zebras, a curious Camel, and a majestic Bald Eagle soaring through a cloud filled sky. All of these amazing animals can be found at the world renowned Roger Williams Park Zoo, also located in Providence.
Completed in September of 2012, the Zoo Mural gives patients and their families, staff, and visitors plenty to see, and provides a welcome respite from the stress of an examination.
This was the second mural that we painted at The Pediatric Heart Center. Months earlier, we painted a Block Island Mural in another treatment room. Be sure to check it out!
