This Yuengling Beer Logo Painted Sign was hand painted on the exterior wall of Fifth Ward Liquors in Newport, Rhode Island. The exterior wall was cinder block and the surface was very rough. Painting fine lines on a highly textured surface can be difficult and often takes more time than it would otherwise. We applied three coats of primer as a foundation, and that improved the speed and efficiency of our brush work.
The Yuengling Beer Logo was faithfully reproduced inside an 8′ x 6′ white rectangle. The fine lined script lettering looks very sharp, and the colorful, highly detailed eagle came out just right. As a finishing touch, we added a narrow drop shadow to the right and bottom in order to make the signage ‘pop’.
