Trudy Coxe is an environmental activist well known for her work as executive director of Save The Bay. She ran for Congress in 1990 and lost to Jack Reed. She is now the CEO of the Preservation Society of Newport County.

This radiant portrait of Ms. Coxe was created in 1990 for my ’40 Influential Rhode Islanders’ portrait exhibit at the East Concourse Gallery at T.F. Green Airport in Warwick, Rhode Island.
