Vincent Buddy Cianci was Mayor of Providence from 1975 to 1984, and again from 1991 to 2002. He was a talk show host on WPRO-AM, and also a political commentator on ABC6 News.
This luminous portrait of Mayor Buddy Cianci was created in 1990 for inclusion in my ‘Influential Rhode Islanders’ exhibit at the East Concourse Gallery at T.F. Green Airport.
